Carolyn Bailey

CAROLYN BAILEY
UHC Board President
Carolyn has been active in the Unity community since 2010. She has been involved in setting up volunteer programs and outreach. She has a background in nursing and came to the Hill Country in 1982 and worked as a community nurse. She and her husband Jay have owned and operated Texas Regional Lymphedema Center where they served people with complications from Cancer.

 

 

 

 

Danny Donovan

DANNY DONOVAN
UHC Board Vice President

Danny is a Texas native, his family background is from the Osage Nation and he was the first of his family born off the reservation. Danny attended many schools in Texas and Florida before joining the US Navy, where he was stationed in many places across the Mediterranean. After 30 years of active duty, he retired and became a civilian instructor for the Naval Master-at-Arms School. In 2001, Danny retired and moved to Kerrville, where he made Unity his spiritual home. Danny has filled many position on the UHC board over the years, including President.


Patsy Sherman

PATSY SHERMAN
UHC Board Treasurer
Patsy has been an active member of Unity of the Hill Country for 7 years. She has served as usher and greeter. Patsy also served on the decorating team, offered her services as a back-up to cover child care and office duties as needed. Previously serving as board treasurer at Unity of the Woodlands, Patsy has served the last 3 years as the board secretary/treasurer.  She is excited to offer her experience again in sacred service to Unity of the Hill Country.


Tina Thompson

TINA THOMPSON
UHC Board Trustee
Tina Thompson, a second term board member, is a semi retired Licensed Vocational Nurse with 52 years (and still counting) experience across a broad spectrum of medical settings. Tina has been a member of and served on various teams/committees at UHC since April of 2013.  Tina serves Unity of the Hill Country as building liaison. Tina loves to cook– if you’ve been to one of our Thanksgiving Celebrations or and monthly Abundance Sundays she’s been instrumental  in overseeing the kitchen duties, and truly enjoys the fellowship as well as everyone enjoying a great meal.

 

 

 

 

JUDY JOHNSON

UHC Board Trustee

She was first drawn to Unity through a meditation group and been a member for five years. Working as a speech therapist, she enjoyed fostering a family of five with her husband of 23 years. Caregiver to elderly parents 1994-1999. She served 14-years on Board of Directors of a small family corporation in South Texas.

Since retirement she enjoys writing short stories and poetry. Graduate of Augustana College, Rock Island, Illinois in 1964. Judy received a Master of Science in Education from the University of Wisconsin, in Superior in 1988. A Master of Spirituality from Duquesne University in 1991.
