Music is a vital part of our Unity Ministry. Singing is simply praying twice. It enters your mind and then opens your heart so that God’s presence can express through you, as you, and out to the world.
Melinda Brown- Music Director
Melinda Brown is a musician (Singer, Songwriter & Instrumentalist) in the
Texas hill country. She moved to the Fredericksburg and Kerrville area in 2015
from central Illinois. While playing the local restaurants, wineries and events
around Fredericksburg, she also established a large clientele of guitar, piano, bass
and ukulele students. She enjoys planning and arranging performances for her
students at local venues and the Farmers’ Market. Many of her students have
also performed at retirement homes and cancer fundraisers.
Melinda was a Music Director with Unity of Peoria, IL, and has many
wonderful memories of Sunday services, holidays and special events – along with
finding her own spiritual path and relationships with positive Unity people. This
inspired her to pursue other possibilities with Unity here in Texas. She is excited
to be a part of the music team, and new beginnings at Unity of the Hill Country.
